Truman Medical Centers: Accessible Community Health System
Truman Medical Centers is Kansas City’s essential, two acute-care safety net hospital health system. The TMC Health System includes TMC Hospital Hill, TMC Lakewood, TMC Behavioral Health, the Jackson County Health Department and a number of primary care practices throughout Eastern Jackson County. TMC is the primary community teaching hospital for the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, and specializes in chronic disease management, orthopedics, family medicine, women’s health, and trauma services.
